This remedy is indicated for the complaints of congestion in the eyes with pressure in the orbits with continuous lachrymation and pain deep in the orbits, as if in the muscles.
Aloes are useful in the treatment of occasional attacks of twitching of eyelids, especially of the left eyelid during the day accompanied by a spasmodic jerk of the whole body on failing to sleep at night.

Aloes are useful in the treatment of the condition when the whole abdomen is painfully sensitive to the touch. The abdominal muscles pain when touched, when pressing at stool, or on rising from a recumbent position.

Rectum Complaints
Aloes are useful in the treatment of diarrhea which occurs after eating and drinking. Diarrhea occurs early in the morning, and the patient has to hurry to the closet, driving them out of the bed early in the morning. Diarrhea also occurs immediately after eating and drinking with a want of confidence in sphincter ani.
The stools are watery, yellowish, jelly-like mucus, and scanty and painful.
Before stools the abdomen becomes distended with gas, causing a feeling of fullness and tightness with a rumbling and gurgling sound in the abdomen with sudden urging and heaviness in the rectum.
During stools, the individual experiences cutting and gripping pain in the right lower portion of the abdomen and excruciating type of pain with much flatus. When passing flatus, they feel the sensation as if stool would also pass with it. The flatus is very offensive, burning, and copious. Also during stool, there is gushing of thin, yellowish, watery, offensive, and excoriating feces which burns like fire making the anus sore.
After stool all the pain ceases, leaving profuse sweating and profound weakness.
The diarrhea is aggravated after eating and drinking. Diarrhoea alternates with the headache.
Aloes socotrina is also useful in the treatment of dysentery. There is an inflammatory condition of the lower portion of the colon and rectum. The stools during dysentery are accompanied by bloody discharge with much jelly-like mucus and less blood. Sometimes the patient passes nothing but a large quantity of jelly-like mucus only.
This remedy is also used in the treatment of constipation which is caused due to sedentary life. The stools are hard and lumpy without an urge. Solid stools and masses of mucus pass involuntarily. There is an entire loss of sensation in the anus, with no feeling during the passage of stool.
Aloes socotrina is a wonderful acting remedy in the treatment of bleeding piles. It is indicated in piles when it is caused due to sedentary life and portal congestion. The piles of aloes individual have a characteristic bunch of grapes-like appearance and are bluish.
The piles are associated with constant bearing down pain in the rectum with intense itching and burning in the anus which prevents the patient from even sleeping. The anal region becomes very much tender, hot, and sore with loose stool. This pain is aggravated by heat and ameliorated by cold application.

Female Symptoms
This remedy is effective for the complaints of pain in the hypogastrium as if menses were coming on.
There is fullness and heaviness in the uterine region, with labor-like pains in the loins and groins which are worse at standing. The labor-like pain extends toward the legs.
During menstruation, the females suffer from headache, which is relieved by the application of cold water, these complaints are also accompanied by pain in the small of the back with a dragging down sensation in the rectum and fullness in the pelvis.
